The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for working directly with vendors to ensure seamless delivery of client equipment, along with negotiating pricing and discounts to pass along to our clients.
Basic Overview
- Work directly with sales team to identify products required to meet client specifications.
- Place orders for all equipment required, and verify acceptance of orders by vendors.
- Track delivery of all end user equipment and notify service team of delivery.
- Negotiate pricing with vendors to ensure clients receive best available pricing for all equipment sold.
- Verify compliance with all vendor programs to ensure maximum available discounts.
Desired Qualifications
- Candidate should be capable of attention to detail
- Experience in IT related field a plus
- Ability to learn nuanced processes and think outside the box
- Experience with Microsoft Office application suite
